Weeklyish Update #2

And, we're back! For once, I remembered to actually continue a series.

It's been a busy couple of weeks, and I've still got lots on the way! School is starting to pick up as we head to midterms, and with spring break coming up, I'll hopefully have a decent amount of time to record and edit content in between semester halves.

Let's get into it!

MUSIC

As you can probably see above, I've released a concept for my upcoming album! As of now, there are 9 planned tracks. Fireworks and HIGHWAY are in various stages of being written and produced, and I essentially only need two more major tracks before the list is complete. If you want a sneak peek on the approximate sound and feel of this album, check out "A Dream Through Open Eyes" by The Strike:

Supercell is still under construction, but is nearly complete! With the advent of this new album, my storm chasing project overall will likely get pushed back a bit, but Supercell will come out as a single fairly soon.

VIDEOS

If you've followed my work for a while (and I mean a WHILE), you'll remember that I had a somewhat unfortunate video series of doing a playthrough of RLcraft, a Minecraft modpack widely regarded as the hardest out there. That was on my old channel, 16dragons. I recorded it on an "ancient" iMac from 2011 that was barely able to maintain 10fps.

I've gotten a number of requests to continue it... so, uh. I recorded a couple hours of footage the other day and I'm editing through it. Expect a video relatively soon! I will continue livestreaming on Twitch and Rumble at relatively irregular times, so if you want to tune in, make sure you've got notifications on!

PHOTOGRAPHY

I have a number of photography projects that I've done recently, so keep an eye on my socials for them to be published soon! I'll also be adding them to Getty Images and Shutterstock as well. If you're near Jackson, TN, and you want to do a super inexpensive photo session with me, just let me know! I'd love to start working with people.

OTHER

Miscellaneous thoughts - it's been a wild few weeks for sports. I don't follow football or any traditional sports all that closely, but I still enjoyed the Super Bowl. I might publish an article with my thoughts on the halftime show, as this one seemed to have people more divided than ever if it was a worthy performance.

Even better than the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500 happened this last Sunday! It seems like another step in the right direction for Nascar, and was actually very exciting. Overall, it had the feeling of a new golden age of motorsports - all of the kinks with the Next Gen cars seem to have been mostly handled, and even legends like Jimmie Johnson (my favorite driver of all time) were able to finish in the top 5! That was wonderful to see, as he's been wrecked out of essentially every race he's participated in since he retired from full-time racing a number of years ago.

Conclusion

That's it for now! Follow along and bookmark my blog page if you want to see more regular updates. Thanks a bunch for reading this far - if you did, and feel free to message me on socials or leave a comment if you have thoughts.

HAVE A GREAT DAY OR ELSE.
